The standard pin spacing is 10” (254mm) or 9” (228mm) please check the spacing on your wheel heads, for whether they will fit.
Unfortunately, as standard they do not fit the spacing of the pins on the Cowley Double Drive ½HP Pottery Wheel. With care and skill, these can be drilled to fit, but you do this at your own risk.
The 8" Diamond Grinding Discs on 12" Bats last longer and provide better results than silicon carbide abrasives. This new set of grinding discs comes with 60 grit, 120 grit, and 240 grit DiamondCore Tools 8" grinding discs on 12" bats.
If you're looking for heavy glaze or high-fired clay removal, choose the 60 grit coarse grinding disc. The 120 grit medium grinding disc is perfect for general purpose and pot levelling. For smoothing, check out the 240 grit fine grinding disc.
*Technique Note: Always use water, high speed, and gentle pressure... "Let the diamonds do the work." Overheating the tool will greatly decrease its lifespan.
