The standard pin spacing is 10” (254mm) or 9” (228mm) please check the spacing on your wheel heads, for whether they will fit.

Unfortunately, as standard they do not fit the spacing of the pins on the Cowley Double Drive ½HP Pottery Wheel.  With care and skill, these can be drilled to fit, but you do this at your own risk.

The 8" Diamond Grinding Disc from DiamondCore Tools is the perfect grind disc for pottery pieces. These grind discs are faster than sandpaper or silicon carbide with much less fatigue. Choose from 60, 120, 0r 240 grit sizes depending on your needs.

Installation instructions: select a smooth, clean, flat waterproof bat to dedicate.  Draw centering rings on the bat. Peel and remove the red film from the back of the grind disc. Place the grind disc in the centre on the bat adhesive side down taking care to keep in the centre.  press down and keep a weight of 25 lbs on it overnight while flat for maximum bond.

*Technique Note: Always use water, high speed, and gentle pressure... "Let the diamonds do the work."    (overheating the tool will greatly decrease tool lifespan)
