This clay has the same working properties as your favourite B Mix WC-401.
This is a mid-temperature, smooth, porcelaneous stoneware that is very plastic and workable. This clay prefers slow drying and ample compression on rims and bottoms to avoid cracks.
Characteristics
Cone: 5 maximum. Cookies and Cream can only go to cone 5. Anything over cone 5 will bloat. The speckles are made of Manganese and at temperatures over cone 5 they melt and start to gas out which is what causes the bloating.
