Application tape or masking tape is a transparent Polyester film coated with a cross-linked acrylic adhesive.
The Application tape is used with Printable thermal transfer film to take off the printed images from its PET carrier backing film so it can be applied to a garment with a heat press.
Application tape prevents colour inks from evaporating from printable Heat Transfer Vinyl which is exposed to air and offers excellent temperature resistance, ageing and UV stability. The adhesive can be removed without residue even after long periods of usage.
