A low lead-bearing glossy white glaze for firing in conventional cycles at earthenware temperatures with excellent opacity. This glaze has a relatively low coefficient of thermal expansion.
Linear Expansion (20 - 500 C) x 10-7 : 56 +/- 2
FIRING
1060 - 1180 C 12 - 24 hour cycle in oxidising conditions.
COMPOSITION
The lead content in this glaze is present in fritted form. The chemical elements present are :
Na2O, MgO, CaO, ZnO, PbO, Al2O3, B2O3, SiO2, ZrO2

A maximum of 1% dry residue retained on a 45 micron (325 mesh) sieve.
